The PROXXON 28679 diamond abrasive disc set is a finishing assortment designed for precision work on mineral and ceramic materials. It includes seven 50 mm diameter self-adhesive discs, covering a full progression from 60 to 3000 grit , as well as a foam backing pad . This set is designed for use with the PROXXON LHW/E and LHW/A tools.
Thanks to its progressive grit sizes, this set allows you to organize surface work from initial abrasion to a very fine finish. The coarsest grits are used for correction work and edge sanding, while the finer grits allow you to progressively refine the surface finish.
Diamond discs are suitable for chamfering , sanding , and finishing cut edges on granite, marble, stoneware, and ceramic materials. Their self-adhesive backing makes changing discs easy as you work. The foam backing accompanies the disc during use and completes this eight-piece set.
In model making, this set provides valuable precision tools for decorative work using mineral or ceramic materials, as well as for deburring and fine finishing of small parts suitable for this type of abrasive. The gradual progression of grits allows for control at each stage, from initial sanding to the final finish.
