The Proxxon 28677 diamond sanding discs come in a set of six 50mm diameter abrasives, available in 200 grit . They are designed for finishing cut edges, corners, and chamfers on hard materials. Their hook-and-loop backing allows for mounting on a compatible backing pad.
The 400 grit is suitable for finishing operations after more abrasive preparation. These discs allow you to smooth an edge, even out a chamfer, and achieve a neat finish on small pieces. Their diamond coating is designed for working with porcelain stoneware, natural stone such as granite or marble, ceramic materials, and glass.
In model making, this abrasive can be useful for precisely preparing decorative elements made from mineral or ceramic materials. Its small 50 mm diameter makes it easy to work on a specific piece, edge, or cutout, where a larger abrasive surface would be less suitable.
