ESU's new Power Pack accessory is a valuable option for all decoders, including LokSound, LokSound Micro, LokPilot, and LokPilot Micro. It provides the necessary power for the locomotive when running on dirty track, curves, or over turnouts.
It also provides your locomotive with energy for sound, lighting, steam functions, etc... The Power Pack provides the necessary energy for up to 3 seconds!
The Power Pack is equipped with an internal charging circuit and will be controlled by the decoder. If you change the CVs on your locomotive, do not remove it! The charging current is limited, depending on your booster.
The holding time is protected, so the locomotive will be able to stop in front of a red signal.
The connection is made via a 3-wire link.
