The ECoSDetector standard is aimed at all model railroaders looking for a reliable and affordable feedback module without using the expandable functions of the ECoSDetector. The ECoSDetector standard is primarily intended to replace older s88 feedback modules: no modifications to track wiring are required.
Detection and return
The ECoSDetector can monitor up to 16 track sections and signals the presence of a locomotive (track occupancy). It can operate with any 3-digit track, regardless of whether it's an M, K, or C track.
Switching inputs
The 16 inputs can also be used as conventional switch inputs: connect Reed contacts as well as contact tracks or switches (and toggle switches) and manage the information provided using your central station.
ECoSlink connection
Each ECoSDetector Standard can be directly connected to the control station via the ECoSlink bus. In addition to all ECoS control stations, you can also use the Central Station® (updated with the Central Station® via software upgrade by ESU). The module will automatically link to the control station and can also be configured graphically.
Scalable
If necessary, the ECoSDetector software can be upgraded to add new features. The control station will automatically perform the required updates. This will ensure that the ECoSDetector remains at the latest technical state at all times.
