    - SNCF type G4 covered wagon in its 4.2 version for the transport of goods.
    - This faithful reproduction at 1/220th scale is a finished model ready to run.
    - The body and chassis are made of finely detailed plastic injection molding (click on the image to zoom).
    - All markings are printed using UV screen printing, offering ultra-high resolution and high resistance to friction.
    - The couplings are of the Marklin type, compatible with models from European manufacturers.
    - The axles are made of metal with a burnished nickel finish.

    History of the real model:

    The G4 type covered wagon was put into service by the SNCF starting in 1963. These wagons are part of the last series of 2-axle covered wagons mass-produced for the French railways. They mark the end of this type of rolling stock after several generations.

    The G4 type cover was produced in 3 versions:

    The G41.6 version for livestock transport
    This classic goods version: G4.2 or G40.2
    The specific version for transporting early produce: G69.6
