Märklin Start up municipal service starter set - 29296 - HO 1/87

The Märklin Start up 29296 starter set reproduces a freight train in a fictional municipal livery at HO scale 1/87. This composition includes a Henschel DHG 300 B type diesel shunting locomotive, a low-sided wagon loaded with a municipal vehicle, a tipper wagon and a tank wagon.

The locomotive is equipped with an mfx digital decoder, a driving axle with traction tires, and a three-light headlight that reverses according to the direction of travel. The wagons have Relex couplings. The overall length of the train is 47 cm.

The Märklin 29296 set also includes an easy-to-assemble C track layout with 12 curved elements ref. 24130, 4 straight elements ref. 24172, 1 straight element ref. 24188, 1 curved element ref. 24224, 1 left-hand turnout ref. 24611, 1 buffer stop ref. 24977 and a base station.

Also included are a switching power supply, a Märklin Power Control Stick wireless infrared remote control, and 2 AAA batteries. The controller allows you to operate up to 4 locomotives and 5 functions.

This starter set can be supplemented with Märklin C track extension sets and the entire C track program. The turnouts can later accommodate the electric motor ref. 74492.
