This Roco 5110015 starter set allows you to discover digital model railroading in HO 1/87 scale with a passenger train of the Deutsche Reichsbahn. The set includes a BR 132 diesel locomotive, two Halberstadt passenger cars, the Z21 START newGen control unit, the Z21 multiMAUS wired controller, a power supply, a conductor's whistle, and a ROCO LINE oval track with ballast.

The BR 132 locomotive is offered in Era IV and equipped for DCC digital operation. It features a PluX16 digital decoder, a PluX22 interface, 6 driving axles, 2 axles with traction tires, a flywheel, and reversible LED lighting with 3 white lights and 2 red lights depending on the direction of travel.

The two "Halberstadt" passenger cars are reproduced at a length ratio of 1:100 and accompany the engine to form a coherent DR passenger train for an East German-inspired network of era IV.

The Z21 START newGen digital system, combined with the Z21 multiMAUS, offers easy setup for starting and operating a digital layout. The set also includes a ballasted ROCO LINE oval track, ready for quick installation and operation.
