The ROCO 5110012 digital set allows you to start a 1/87 scale H0 layout with a Deutsche Bahn AG passenger train. It includes a Class 218 diesel locomotive with two Intercity coaches, as well as a Z21 START newGen digital control system to get started operating the train.
This starter kit includes the essentials for quick setup: the Z21 START newGen control unit, a power supply, a controller whistle, and a ROCO LINE oval track figure with ballast. Control is provided via the Z21 app, available for download on iOS and Android devices.

The supplied track consists of 12 R2 curved elements, 5 G1 straight rails, 1 G1/2 straight rail and 1 G1/2 connecting rail. The space required for installation is approximately 175 x 100 cm.
The locomotive is equipped with LED lighting, including three front lights and two end-of-train lights that are reversed according to the direction of travel. It features a PluX22 electrical interface, a digital decoder, a NEM 362 coupler, a minimum radius of 358 mm, four driven axles, and one axle with traction tires.
This set provides a complete solution for discovering or developing a ROCO digital network in H0, with a contemporary German passenger train from era VI.
