This set features a DB AG BR 218 diesel locomotive accompanied by 2 Intercity passenger cars at 1:100 scale. The set allows for quick operation thanks to the presence of an electronic manual control, a power supply unit and a RocoLine oval track with ballast.

The locomotive is designed for use with analog DC power. It features LED lighting with three-light headlights and two-light end-of-train lights, depending on the direction of travel. A PluX22 interface is also included.
