The REE Modèles VB492 set reproduces two SNCF passenger cars in HO scale (1/87) : a UIC B7D and a UIC B10 . These two models are presented in a green/grey livery featuring the Carmillon logo and a Corail cartouche. This reproduction is intended for representing the SNCF network of Era VI .

The train consists of two complementary types of carriages. The designation B identifies second-class carriages. On the B7D, the letter D indicates the presence of a luggage compartment; the B10 is a second-class carriage. These UIC carriages represent classic bogie passenger rolling stock, designed to transport passengers in trains composed of several carriages with varying functions.

UIC carriages represent a generation of passenger rolling stock developed according to international standardization principles.
