The dining car G and the two central cars F and H located to the left and right are connected by a fixed coupling via the Jakobs bogies.

Used as a multi-system multiple unit between Zurich Airport and Basel, as well as for crossing the Alps via the Gotthard Base Tunnel to Milan. Authorization also planned for Germany and Austria. Current status as of 2021.
