The Sellier Leblanc – SNCF cement wagon reproduces a specialized wagon designed for transporting cement and powdered products. This scale model, offered by R37 (ref. 43118) , is made to HO scale (1/87 ) and designed for 2-rail DC railway layouts.

This wagon fits perfectly into the industrial freight trains of eras III and IV of the SNCF network. It represents a wagon used by traders and manufacturers for the transport of cement, an important traffic for the construction industry during this period.

In reality, these two-axle cement wagons of type SV or IV were designed for transporting powdered products such as cement. They feature two vertical silos allowing for rapid pneumatic unloading at industrial facilities.
