The Proxxon MICROMOT 80 sets combine a compact 230V rotary tool, a switch-mode power supply, and an initial assortment of accessories in a MICROMOT case. Model 28507 MM 80/EF is equipped with a universal chuck.
The Proxxon MICROMOT 80 series comprises compact drills designed for precision work. The MM 80/EF set, ref. 28507 , operates on mains power with the included 230V switching power supply; no separate transformer is required. The set is delivered in a MICROMOT case with an initial set of accessories.
A micro drill is particularly useful in a model-making workshop for fine drilling, milling, sanding, grinding, engraving, or polishing operations, provided the appropriate accessory is used for the material and the operation being performed. It allows for working on small model parts, components made of plastic, wood, metal, or composite materials, as well as details of RC assemblies.
The MICROMOT 80 series offers two clamping configurations to suit different working habits. The MM 80/E Precision-Set (28505) uses high-precision collets , a solution ideal for concentric clamping of shank accessories. The MM 80/EF Universal-Set (28507) features a universal chuck , designed to facilitate the mounting of drill bits, milling cutters, and other compatible accessories.
The rotation speed is adjustable from 5,000 to 22,000 rpm . This adjustment allows you to adapt the working speed to the mounted tool, the material being machined, and the desired level of finish. The machine has an M8 x 0.75 thread, is 220 mm long, weighs 230 g , and has a 1.80 m cable.
