- MICROMOT steel clamping pliers are hardened, giving them high and consistent elasticity. They maintain the necessary precision even after long use (unlike non-hardened 4-slot clamping pliers or those made of brass or aluminum).
- The triple lunge, which is much more difficult to perform than a quadruple lunge, allows for a better base.
- This is particularly important for centering small diameter rods.
Drill chuck or clamping collet?
Our drill chuck (Ref. 28941) offers greater convenience by allowing quick tool changes when working with different axes (e.g., HSS drill bits according to DIN 338). However, due to its technical design, it has some disadvantages compared to a collet chuck: lower clamping force and a higher roundness tolerance. If high precision is required, MICROMOT collets should be used.
