Product Details

Orient-Express is a luxury train that links Paris, Vienna and Venice since 1883. In the years 1920, with the participation of artists-decorators, the style "Orient-Express" reached its climax. After several changes of itinerary, two wars and the lowering of its prestige during the cold war, the daily direct-Orient-Express service to Istanbul and Athens stops.

Since 1982, a new luxury train, the Venice-Simplon-Orient-Express, has taken over the route Boulogne-sur-Mer – Paris – Venice, via Innsbruck or Vienna. The Orient-Express brand is still owned by the SNCF.
