Model of A Streetcar Named Desire

"A Streetcar Named Desire" is the title of a play by Tennessee Williams, winner of the Pulitzer Prize in 1947, adapted in 1951 for the big screen by director Elia Kazan.

"Desire 922," written by Tennessee Williams, is a play that won 12 Academy Awards, including Best Picture in 1952.

She was also awarded the Pulitzer Prize on Broadway. The story is set in New Orleans' French Quarter and is inspired by the legendary "Desire 922" streetcar line, which stopped operating in 1948.
