The digital electromagnetic coupling, known from ESU Engineering Edition locomotives since the end of 2021 and optimized several times, is now also available separately for the modernization of locomotives equipped with a NEM coupling.

Thanks to the integrated height adjustment, the coupling can be easily adapted to the locomotive being modernized. Two highly flexible cables are already welded to the coupler.

The coupling couple and uncouple all loop couplings commonly available on the market (also in magnetic material), ESU and Roco® universal couplings and the Märklin® short coupling.

An ESU LokSound 5 or LokPilot 5 is highly recommended for control, as they have the appropriate control mode.
