1 - Scope of the range
REE offers a complete and consistent range of short couplings. Each coupling version is available with the following variants: - Standard: NEM 362: "NEM box" or NEM 363: dovetail.

- Length: 4 lengths available.

2 - The different lengths:

The hitches are available in 4 different lengths:

- XS: shorter than the standard by 0.3mm.
These couplings are suitable for vehicles with a longer than standard extension, resulting in excessive spacing between vehicles. They are also suitable for modelers who want to run with buffers and bellows perfectly sealed. Using this coupling length on all vehicles may cause derailments and therefore requires prior testing.

- S: length strictly conforming to the standard. These hitches are suitable for the majority of vehicles and uses.

- M and L: longer than the standard by 0.3mm and 0.6mm. These couplings are suitable for vehicles with a shorter than standard elongation and allow passage on tight curves. These couplings are also suitable for modelers who, depending on their layout, wish to run with the buffers and bellows slightly further apart.
