During World War II, some armies used improvised paints to camouflage vehicles on certain fronts, such as North Africa and the Eastern Front. These colors were made by mixing local earth with a binder such as oil, gasoline, or other vehicle-specific substances. These paints tended to wear off quickly due to their poor quality and gave the vehicle a very distinctive appearance. Rain or vehicle use gradually eroded and wore away the paint. This product replicates the color and produces the exact same effects as the real thing. It can be gradually applied with a brush and water to represent the effects of vehicles from that era. Use this color to camouflage German Army vehicles in Africa (DAK) or early German vehicles in Central Europe or Russia. This product is acrylic and is designed for maximum performance with both brush and airbrush. It is water-soluble, odorless, and non-toxic. Shake well before each use. Each container includes a stainless steel stirrer for easy mixing. We recommend A.MIG-2000 Acrylic Thinner for proper dilution.
