A-Stand Klear Kote varnishes offer extremely durable matte, satin, and gloss finishes. Of course, they can be mixed together to achieve all types of intermediate finishes.

Why use A-Stand?

The excellent fluidity of A-Stand products makes them easy to spray without clogging the airbrush. They also provide a tough, durable finish once dry, allowing for the application of any other lacquer, anti-enamel product, or acrylic paint on top without any issues. Furthermore, modeling masking tape can be applied without any problems over the hard finish of A-Stand paints.

A-Stand products are touch-dry in a short time of approximately 30 minutes, depending on the amount of paint applied, ambient humidity, and temperature. Allow 1 hour of drying time before safely applying other products; they will fully cure in 24 hours. The thinners used in these paints and varnishes, as in other lacquer products, are suitable for airbrush application only and not for brush painting.

Remember that all lacquered paints contain toxic components and it is advisable to use a mask when applying them and to spray these products in a well-ventilated area.
