The Märklin 45707 reproduces a caboose for a Southern Pacific freight train . This HO 1/87 model corresponds to a version with a central cab on the roof , in brown livery , for a service entry placed around 1948 , i.e. Era III .

The scale model benefits from a careful design with metal chassis and floor , detailed bogies with special axles, as well as many added details : end platforms with hand brake , roof walkways, access ladders and braking elements.
The couplings are interchangeable . For use in 2-rail DC , suitable axles are specified by the manufacturer: E320552 (NEM) or E320389 (RP25) .
It is possible to change the axles to 2 rails upon request when placing your order.
To create a coherent train, this wagon can be combined with the Märklin 45667 Southern Pacific freight wagon set and the Märklin 37983 Berkshire steam locomotive .
