This Di passenger van (Bay 10) reproduced by MiniTrix in N scale (1/160) represents a vehicle characteristic of Bavarian trains from the beginning of the 20th century.
The actual model was built from 1910 onwards for the Royal Bavarian Railways . After the creation of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (German Reichsbahn), these vehicles were integrated into the DRB Gruppenverwaltung Bayern (DRB Group Administration Bayern ). These vans were used for transporting luggage, parcels, and sometimes for staff service on passenger trains. Their original district was Munich .
The MiniTrix model faithfully reproduces this typical Era II vehicle and is an ideal addition to a realistic Bavarian train in model railroading. It features a close coupling mechanism allowing for tight coupling and reliable operation on N scale layouts.
