The three-light headlight and two red end-of-train lights (which reverse depending on the direction of travel) are always on in analog operation; they can be selected in digital mode. Separate selection of the headlights on sides 1 and 2 of the locomotive is possible in digital mode. When the headlights are off on both sides of the locomotive, the double A-light is illuminated on both sides. Lighting is provided by maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs.
