Since 2021, six daily train services, each lasting 3.5 hours, have been offered between Zurich's main station and Munich's main station. This increased service is due to the electrification of the Geltendorf–Lindau section by German Railways. To highlight this innovation, Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) Passenger Services has wrapped two Re 421 locomotives in a dark blue advertising livery. These locomotives primarily operate on the Zurich HB–Lindau and Zurich HB–Singen lines.
