BB 400 CFD diesel locomotive – Provence Railway No. 402 – Era IV
REE scale model reference VM-024S in HOm / HOe scale (1/87 meter gauge / narrow gauge) reproducing the BB 400 diesel locomotive of the Chemin de fer de Provence operated by the CFD company.
The real model
The BB 400 diesel locomotives were built from 1962 onwards for the Chemins de fer Départementaux (CFD) company. They operated on several French secondary networks, notably on the Chemin de fer de Provence , a meter gauge line linking Nice to Digne.
The scale model
This REE Models reproduction represents the BB 402 locomotive of the Chemin de fer de Provence in service during Era IV .
The model is equipped with a DCC digital sound decoder reproducing the characteristic sounds of the diesel locomotive.
HOe gauge bogies allowing use on 9 mm narrow gauge track are available separately on the REE website.
