The real model

The BB 400 diesel locomotives were built from 1962 onwards for the Chemins de fer Départementaux (CFD) company. These locomotives operated on several French narrow-gauge secondary networks, notably on the POC – Paris-Orléans-Corrèze network, where they provided passenger and freight services.

The scale model

This REE Modèles reproduction represents the BB 401 locomotive in its service condition during epoch III-IV . The model is designed for operation on a 2-rail DC network in analog version.
