Set of Ks 3300 and Ks 3301 type car carrier wagons, DR - Trix 24190 - H0

The Trix 24190 set reproduces a set of four flat wagons with pivoting stanchions for the transport of vehicles of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (DR/GDR), types Ks 3300 and Ks 3301.

These HO scale wagons are offered in a reddish-brown livery and correspond to Era IV, around 1980. Each wagon features numerous added details, including a brake rigging, brake controls, and separately mounted pivoting stanchions. One stanchion on each side bears the wagon's registration number.

The loading surface has a wooden floor appearance. End slots allow for the installation of the supplied stanchions. The buffer height conforms to the NEM standard.

The Ks 3300 type is distinguished by its added beams, the absence of a brakeman's platform and short end stanchions, as well as by rectangular buffer plates. The Ks 3301 type is equipped with added tie rods, an end walkway, short end stanchions, and round buffer plates.

The load comprises a total of eight Skoda LIAZ 706 tractors, two per wagon. Wheel chocks and end stanchions are also included. The tractor models are from Brekina.

The total length excluding buffers is approximately 65 cm. Trix reference 24190.
