Prototype model: EDELWEISS PULLMAN EXPRESS lounge car, "North Star" type, of the Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits et des Grands Express Européens (CIWL). Carriage in Era II service condition. Train route: Amsterdam - The Hague - Rotterdam - Brussels - Luxembourg - Strasbourg - Basel - Lucerne - Zurich.

Scale model: CIWL lounge car without kitchen. Handcrafted display model with a plexiglass protective cover/aluminum display base and integrated metal figures. The car is functional and suitable for operation. The vehicle is primarily made of metal. The body and roof are made of brass sheet with centrifugally cast brass fittings and a few plastic parts. The car floor is made of aluminum. The metal figures feature new colors and are factory-installed.

Added metal CIWL logos (raised). Realistic interior. Finely detailed carriage floor and bogies. Folding transition panels. Functional doors. Short coupling slide for claw couplings.
