CIWL Edelweiss Pullman Express (Scale 1)

With a total length of over five meters , the CIWL's Edelweiss carriages, coupled with the powerful Class 13 high-speed steam locomotive, impress all 1:1 scale enthusiasts!

The Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits (CIWL) – an iconic name from the golden age of railways – is the oldest European company operating sleeping cars, dining cars, and luxury trains. The "EDELWEISS" train could reach a top speed of 120 km/h.

During the period of operation we recreated around 1937, the train featured a "coupling" configuration of two Pullman cars – of the "Étoile du Nord" and "Côte d'Azur" types – complemented by two baggage cars positioned at either end of the train. This convoy perfectly evoked the luxury and charm of rail travel during the Belle Époque.

The cars are very exclusive, a completely new build, and delivered separately in a box.

Scale model: Set of 6 exclusive, finely detailed, handcrafted carriages: 2 baggage cars, 2 lounge cars with kitchens, and 2 lounge cars without kitchens. Cars are primarily made of brass (body and roof) and aluminum chassis with spin-cast brass fittings. CIWL logos are applied in metal. All cars have integrated current buffers. Built-in decoders, some with sound functions.
