Up to 9,999 locomotive addresses can be ordered via direct entry; 64 of these can be saved in the database with their name, e.g., "103RB" (103 red-beige). A total of 29 functions (including headlights) can be activated per locomotive, provided it is equipped accordingly.
Locomotives can be driven with a choice of 14, 28, or 128 speeds. This setting is the default but can be changed as desired for each locomotive.
Two different programming methods allow you to configure your locomotive decoders as you see fit: you can access CV values 1 to 5 by pressing the "Menu" button and the corresponding number, while the programming menu provides access to all 1,024 possible CVs. Of course, depending on the decoder design, all values up to 255 can be programmed.
Possibility of reading CVs 1 to 2024 with an amplifier having the capability (z21/Z21).
Switching mode:
The Z21 multiMAUS can switch up to 1,024 magnetic items! To do this, they must have an electric drive and be connected to a magnetic item decoder. The magnetic item decoder is programmed electronically on the tracks.
Connected to the 10764, the Z21 multiMAUS plugged into the master input becomes the central unit.
