Decoder for turnout, signal and uncoupling track motors.
Receiver for switching turnouts, signals, and uncoupling tracks. The m83 supports Motorola, DCC, and mfx digital formats. Digital address setting is possible via the coding switch or via the programming channel in four-by-four increments. Address ranges up to 320 are available in Motorola format, and up to 2040 in DCC format. The m83 has 8 outputs, switchable individually or in pairs. Default configuration: switching up to 4 turnouts. Other functions include switching up to 8 lights (variable intensity) with defined lighting behavior (e.g., street lighting, building lighting). An external power supply, e.g., via 66360, is possible only in combination with 60822. The m83 and m84 decoders can be connected in series. Motorized drives require an equipment set (ref. [reference number missing]). 60821 per output pair. Connection is made using clamp terminals. Maximum permissible current 3A.
