The dining car G and the two central cars F and H located to the left and right are connected by a fixed coupling via the Jakobs bogies.
With digital decoder as well as numerous sound and light functions.
Central position of the high-performance regulated engine with flywheel in the dining car.
The 4 axles in the two Jakobs bogies to the left and right of the dining car are driven by cardan shaft.

Prototype: EC 250 high-speed electric multiple unit as RABe 501 "Giruno" of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB). 1 end car A (Bt1), 2nd class. 1 intermediate car F (B7), 2nd class, with disabled access and pantograph. 1 intermediate car G (WR6), with restaurant space. 1 intermediate car H (A5), 1st class, with disabled access and pantograph. 1 end car L (At2), 1st class. Used as a multi-system multiple unit between Zurich Airport and Basel, as well as for crossing the Alps via the Gotthard Base Tunnel to Milan. Authorization also planned for Germany and Austria. Current status as of 2021.
