The illustration is a digital retouching. Operating notes: The locomotive can negotiate curves with a radius of 261.8 mm or greater, but we recommend larger radii. Due to the overhang of the long boiler, signals, catenary masts, bridge railings, tunnel portals, and other obstacles must be set well clear of the curved track. The track must be securely fastened to support the locomotive's considerable weight. The turntable and transfer bridge may only be used in the passing position.
