From 1988 to 1998, 234 BB 26000 series dual-system electric locomotives were delivered to the French National Railways (SNCF). These locomotives, known by their nickname "Sybic," are used throughout France for all types of trains. These versatile locomotives reach a top speed of 200 km/h and develop a maximum power output of 5600 kW.
